ATTENTION! I made this for myself and maybe you do not need it.
RAR-archive Extracted_SCS_28.10.2023.rar ~1MB contains the files: #_Extracted_SCS_v1.0.exe, ReadMe_.txt and extract_1.jpg.
Extracted_SCS – this is a way to unpack scs files in the games: American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 for changing and modding them.
Attention! There are no viruses in Extracted_SCS.
But some inexperienced antivirus programs may warn about the threat posed by Extracted_SCS.
Because they perceive batch files in Extracted_SCS as a threat.
You can ignore the warnings or just stop using Extracted_SCS.
This version is improved and more convenient to use:
– Now you can unpack all files at once, not just one file at a time
– The ability to re-unpack an unzipped file will be blocked.
– To re-unpack, you need to delete the already unpacked file-folder
– You can move the Extracted_SCS working folder or change its name, then the first time you launch Extracted_ATS or Extracted_ETS2, all icons and workspace will be automatically updated.
– The new name must contain the symbols: _SCS_
Start installation:
Run the Extracted_SCS.exe file and specify any location convenient for you on any disk and the Extracted_SCS folder will be created there
Need free space for unpacking files, scs of two games is approximately 70GB
Afterwards in the created folder Extracted_SCS read Manual__Read_Me_.txt to continue.

How to install ETS2 mods or ATS Mods
In Euro Truck Simulator 2 it’s easy to install mods. You just need to download mod from here, copy/unzip files into: “My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod” folder or if you play ATS please install mods to: “My Documents\American Truck Simulator\mod” folder. To unzip files you can use: WinRAR or 7zip. After that you need to activate the mods you want to use.
